Job summary

McCabe & Barton in London is seeking a Portfolio Finance Analyst to manage monthly portfolio forecasting, reporting and variance analysis, partnering with Project Managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and budgeting.

You will build Power BI dashboards and automated reports, maintain data integrity, and support project financial setup, funding and governance, driving automation with Power Query, Excel and VBA.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years in financial analysis, project accounting or portfolio management.
• Part-qualified/qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI and Power Query.
• Experience with PPM tools (Clarity, Planview, Project Online).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working across Finance, PMO and delivery teams.
• Must have extensive financial services experience and tracked budgets of £50M.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly portfolio forecasting, reporting and variance analysis with insights.
• Partner with Project Managers and delivery teams for budgeting and financial tracking.
• Build dashboards and reports to drive portfolio prioritisation and performance.
• Maintain data integrity and act as steward for portfolio financial data.
• Support project financial setup, funding, tracking and governance.
• Drive automation of manual processes using Power Query, Excel, VBA.
