As a Systems Engineer at MBDA, you can be involved in all aspects of missile systems development, from early concept studies to series production and in-service support. Job Title: Portfolio Delivery Team Lead
Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2‑3 days per week on‑site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The Delivery Lead is responsible for the management of Portfolio engineering activities associated with the delivery of the MBDA Complex Weapons Portfolio, including management of technical risks, obsolescence and engineering commonality.
The role demands a motivated individual with broad technical knowledge, and good influencing skills. It would suit someone who is looking for a balance of technical understanding and broader business delivery aspects. The successful individual will get exposure to wider Portfolio factors such as financial efficiencies, operational performance, exportability and Freedom of Action to the UK MoD.
