To work as a member of the Facilities Team to carry out a comprehensive range of Portering tasks at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB).
We are looking for hard working, reliable and flexible individuals to join our team. You will carry out a wide range of Portering duties which is a 24hr/365 days a year service these roles will cover both patient and non patient duties. This role is a portering supervisor position which will cover all the portering duties and supervisory tasks such as administration, rosters, sickness management, training etc.
The work is varied and interesting, it requires initiative, awareness and Good communication skills. You must also have the ability to work as part of a team plus a flexible approach to working hours, which will include Nights, weekends and Bank Holidays which are all essential in order to meet the needs of the department.
Enhancements are paid for lates, weekends, nights and bank holidays.
The position is on a set shift basis covering 12 hour shifts earlies, lates, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
This role is a portering supervisor position which will cover all the portering duties and supervisory tasks such as administration, rosters, sickness management, training, staffing, etc and the operational day to day delivery of the department (this is not an exhaustive list)

Full training will be given.
A full driving licence is essential to this role which needs to include driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonne.
