Overview

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Porter to join their team in the Portering department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, providing staffing support during busy periods and covering for staff absences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general and ad hoc tasks such as patient, equipment, and goods movement (e.g., pharmacy goods).
• Guide patients and visitors, explaining hospital facilities and services.
• Provide courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Ensure patient comfort and dignity are maintained.
• Maintain security within the hospital, adhering to security protocols and patrols.
• Complete all mandatory training requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Frontline customer-facing experience.
• Experience in healthcare, hotel, or hospitality settings is beneficial.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent.
• Proficiency in PC use, including relevant software and systems.
