• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to Health & Safety policies.
• Move carcasses around the factory and weigh in to meet customer specs.
• Operate knives and trimming equipment as required.
• Follow departmental SOPs and proper PPE usage.
• Work well in a team or independently and meet deadlines.

• Supporting the achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.
• Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained.
• Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to.
• Moving carcasses around the factory.
• Working in a chilled environment.
• Use of knives or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.
• Be aware of and work to departmental SOP’s.
• Proper use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives etc.)
• Responsible for the intake and weighing in of carcasses and ensuring they meet customer specifications
• Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
• Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be highly motivated.

• Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
