Job summary

Dunbia UK is seeking individuals to join a leading meat processing operation in the Clitheroe area. The role involves moving carcasses, trimming, working in a chilled environment and adhering to Quality, Health & Safety policies.

You'll contribute to yield and efficiency targets, maintain housekeeping, follow SOPs, use PPE, and work as part of a team or on your own initiative to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.

• Move carcasses around the factory and perform meat cutting/trimming with knives and equipment.

• Ensure PPE is used and stored properly.
• Inputting carcass intake and weighing to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.
• Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained.
• Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to.
• Moving carcasses around the factory.
• Working in a chilled environment.
• Use of knives or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.
• Be aware of and work to departmental SOP’s.
• Proper use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives etc.)
• Responsible for the intake and weighing in of carcasses and ensuring they meet customer specifications
