Securitas UK is hiring a Port Security Support Assistant in Grimsby. You’ll support the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and Deputy PFSOs, helping ensure PFSP compliance and ISPS alignment in offshore wind operations.

You'll monitor security activities, assist with risk assessments, and help maintain secure search procedures while working a dedicated 40-hour week. A valid SIA licence and strong English are required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history

Mansioni

• Support the PFSO and Deputy PFSOs in monitoring PFSP, DfT requirements and ISPS procedures
• Conduct routine assurance activities and report deviations to PFSO/Deputy
• Review security practices to ensure alignment with procedures and identify improvements
• Assist with establishment and management of Temporary Restricted Areas (TRAs)
• Prepare, review and implement risk assessments and security controls
• Monitor TRAs to ensure effective security measures
• Oversee security searching by contracted personnel and ensure ISPS compliance
• Undertake QA checks on search standards and report findings

The Port Security Support Assistant provides operational support and resilience to the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and Deputy PFSOs in the delivery of port facility security arrangements at the offshore wind operations and maintenance base.

Working under the direction of the PFSO and Deputy PFSOs, the role supports the implementation of the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP), assists in maintaining compliance with Department for Transport (DfT) requirements and the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, and helps to provide assurance that security measures are being effectively implemented across

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Support the PFSO and Deputy PFSOs in monitoring compliance with the PFSP, DfT requirements and ISPS procedures.
• Conduct routine assurance activities and report any deviations, non -conformities or security concerns to the PFSO or Deputy PFSOs.
• Review security activities and practices to ensure alignment with approved procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the establishment, organisation and ongoing management of Temporary Restricted Areas (TRAs).
• Assist with the preparation, review and implementation of associated risk assessments and security controls.
• Monitor Temporary Restricted Areas to ensure security measures remain effective and compliant. Search
• Monitor and oversee security searching activities undertaken by contracted security personnel to ensure compliance with ISPS requirements, site procedures and approved search methodologies.
• Undertake quality assurance checks on search standards and report findings, trends or areas for improvement to the PFSO team.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word andExcel.
