Securitas UK is hiring a Security Officer in Grimsby to protect people and property with vigilance and integrity. The role offers 42 hours per week on a 4 on/4 off day-shift, with a pay rate of £14 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will conduct active patrols, thorough searches, and precise record-keeping, while delivering excellent customer service and working closely with colleagues and external authorities to keep our sites safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Strong communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid SIA licence is required.
• Driving licence or good transport links.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• Physically fit for patrolling.

Responsabilités

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity. Your vigilance will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone
• Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will help keep our restricted areas safe
• Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy
