Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (legal requirement for front-line licensable activity).
• Hold a valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.
• Ability to provide a 5-year checkable work and address history.
• Willingness to complete the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code Course as part of induction.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, visible and proactive security presence at the port.
• Conduct vehicle, trailer and personnel searches.
• Verify passes, permits and identification for authorised access.
• Control access and egress points to ensure security.
• Conduct port security patrols and monitor for safety concerns.
• Work with Port Police, Border Force and other stakeholders to maintain safety.
