Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Loading Shovel Operator for our client in Immingham. The role involves operating loading shovels to move bulk cargo safely and efficiently on a busy port site, with 12-hour shifts and full-time permanent employment.

You will work as part of a team, performing daily plant checks, maintaining safety standards, and supporting broader port operations. A valid NPORS or CPCS loading shovel licence is required, with opportunity for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a loading shovel or similar heavy plant.
• Valid NPORS, CPCS or equivalent license.
• Experience in ports, quarries or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading shovels safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload bulk materials from vessels and storage areas.
• Handle aggregates, biomass and minerals.
• Carry out daily plant checks and safety inspections.
• Maintain high safety and productivity standards.
