Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking a Production Operative to join our hands-on team in Cookstown. You’ll help prepare and process pork products safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, with full training provided to develop your skills and progress within the business.

Depending on role and experience, you may work across processing, cutting, packing, labeling and general production areas. Pay ranges from £12.84 to £13.79 per hour, with full training and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification.
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation.
• Operate equipment safely following training.
• Pack and label products accurately.
• Keep your work area clean and organised.
• Work to production targets and daily plans.
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is useful but not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities
