Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking a Production Operative in Cookstown. You’ll join a hands-on team to safely prepare and process pork products to required quality standards. Full training is provided and there are opportunities to develop your skills within a large food manufacturing business.

Pay ranges from £12.84 to £13.79 per hour. Shift patterns include early starts such as 05:45–14:45, with a busy production environment and daily targets to meet. Training will be provided.

Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you’ll be part of a hands‑on team preparing and processing pork products safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Depending on your role and experience, you may work across areas including processing, cutting and trimming, packing, labelling and general production. Full training is available, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress.

Pay: £12.84 - £13.79
Location: Cookstown

We offer a range of full‑time shift paterns,for example:

• 05:45 – 14:45
• 06:00 – 15:30
• 06:30 – 16:00
• 07:00 – 16:30

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be reliable, practical and comfortable working as part of a busy production team. You’ll also need to:

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation
• Operate equipment safely following training
• Pack and label products accurately
• Keep your work area clean and organised
• Work to production targets and daily plans
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues

Previous food manufacturing experience is useful but not essential as training will be provided.
