Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a passionate Poppy Appeal Manager to cover Cardiff & Gwent. You will coordinate all aspects of the award-winning Poppy Appeal, working with the Regional Poppy Appeal Manager to meet income, expenditure, and contribution targets, and manage relationships with local supporters, partners and volunteers.

The role involves recruiting Poppy Appeal Organisers, coordinating the launch and PR activity, frequent travel in the area, and adopting flexible working patterns

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the Poppy Appeal in Cardiff & Gwent, meeting income, expenditure and contribution targets.
• Build and manage relationships with local supporters, partners and volunteers to maximise fundraising efforts.
• Recruit, induct and support Poppy Appeal Organisers and coordinate launch events and PR activities.
• Travel regularly within the area to oversee activities and engage with stakeholders.
• Maintain flexibility with working patterns, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
