Job summary

BH Live is recruiting for a Recreation Assistant at Littledown Centre, Bournemouth. You will work 34.5 hours per week on a rota aligned to opening hours, mainly poolside, as the main contact for customers and ensuring safety and centre rules are followed.

The role requires an NPLQ qualification, DBS clearance, and you must be a confident swimmer with good customer service and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Weekend/evening shifts apply.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification required.
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Be a confident swimmer.
• Keep calm under pressure and have good initiative.
• Ability to concentrate whilst working poolside.
• Great customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work poolside and be the main point of contact for our customers.
• Ensure our customers are kept safe and comply with the centre rules.
• Erect, dismantle and move equipment.
• Clean the centre and equipment.
• Be vigilant and supervise people who are using the pool and centre facilities.
