Job summary

Ultimate Activity Camps is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the welfare and safety of children on camp during swimming sessions. You will be the poolside lifeguard, and, if over 18, join the Instructor Team delivering sports, arts and crafts, and games. Below 18?

you will support the team and help with camp upkeep while learning and developing skills. Qualifying lifeguards (NARS/NPLQ) with depth-appropriate certification and a pool competency test are required, along with a strong focus on safety,

Qualifications

Lifeguard qualification (NARS or NPLQ) required.
Pool competency test must be completed prior to start.
Maintain physical requirements per NPLQ.
Confident and assertive on poolside.
Experience of working with children in childcare settings.
Enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about child development through play.

Responsibilities

Guard the pool during swimming sessions and ensure child welfare.
Deliver engaging activities when not lifeguarding, as part of the Instructor Team.
Support and supervise groups of children aged 4–14.
Contribute to high standards of care and safety on camp.
