Job summary

Ultimate Activity Camps is recruiting Lifeguards to ensure the welfare and safety of children on camp during swimming sessions. You will be the sole lifeguard poolside, supported by an Activity instructor for activities with 4–14 year olds.

When not lifeguarding and if 18+, you will join the Instructor Team delivering sports, arts and crafts and games, promoting participation and care. If under 18, you will assist with activities and camp cleanliness while upholding high welfare standards.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard role is to ensure welfare and safety of children on camp during swimming sessions.
• You will be the sole lifeguard on poolside during swimming sessions, assisted by an Activity instructor for 4–14 year olds.
• When not lifeguarding and if 18+, you will join the Instructor Team delivering sports, arts and crafts, and games to groups of children, emphasizing participation, care and development.
• If under 18, you will help the Instructor Team with activities and camp cleanliness.
• Staff contribute to high standards of physical, emotional, and social care offered by Ultimate Activity Camps.
• Instructors have a pastoral role as leaders of groups, focusing on welfare and quality care.
