Job summary

Larkfield Leisure Centre is seeking enthusiastic Recreation Assistants to join our team. You will supervise swimmers, ensure safety, and deliver a top-quality customer experience. Hours include weekdays and weekends, with day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities for cleanliness, carrying out pool cleaning and maintenance, and enforcing pool rules. You may also provide coaching and teaching to customers.

Qualifications

• Current NPLQ preferred or ability to pass with training provided.
• Customer-focused with effective communication to a wide variety of users.
• Willingness to provide coaching and teaching services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of swimmers.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness and perform pool cleaning/maintenance.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations.
• Potentially provide coaching/teaching to customers.
