Job summary

Falkirk Council is seeking Leisure Attendants to join our team. The role is a permanent full-time position, working a 37-hour week within a shift rota. Shifts may start as early as 6:45am and finish as late as 10pm on weekdays, with weekend hours from 7:30am to 6:30pm.

Rotas follow a seven-week cycle, offering advance notice of hours. You will help supervise the pool and changing areas, ensure safety, deliver excellent customer service and maintain cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Current STA or RLSS Pool Lifeguard qualification required.
• Ability to attend regular training to maintain lifeguard status.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with public experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool and changing areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with activities and events.
• Welcome customers and maintain high service standards.
• Complete required training to maintain qualifications and contribute to smooth venue operation.
