Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
• PVG scheme membership required (Disclosure Scotland).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Leisure Centre users to ensure safety and cleanliness of facilities.
• Direct activities to prevent injury or misuse of facilities and to safeguard belongings.
• Adhere to operating procedures, Health & Safety policies, and emergency action plans.
• Attend Health & Safety training to maintain competency.
• Provide trained assistance to users, including poolside and lifesaving support.
• Patrol the building for security and routine maintenance.
• Supervise children’s activities, parties and camps.
• Carry out pool tests and assist in plant room operations when required.
• Assist with basic administration such as bookings, cash handling, and front-desk duties.
