Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a friendly Pool Attendant to help maintain a safe, clean pool area and deliver excellent guest service at the Dartmouth Road park in Paignton.

You'll monitor water quality, supervise activities, and respond quickly to incidents. Full training will be provided, DBS check required, and weekend/holiday work is expected to support our busy holiday park operations.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) an advantage but not essential.
• Previous experience in a pool environment is beneficial.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and guest service commitment.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• DBS check required, including Children’s Barred List.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool activities and respond to incidents promptly.
• Monitor and maintain water quality according to guidelines.
• Keep pool deck and changing areas clean and hygienic.
• Provide excellent guest service and answer queries.
• Follow health and safety regulations and proper use of chemicals.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor or manager.

Overview

As a Pool Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our pool area. You will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, ensuring water quality, and providing excellent customer service to guests. This position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Job Duties

• Supervise pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests, responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
• Conduct regular checks on water quality, ensuring it meets company guidelines and standards.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic pool environment, including the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding areas.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering guest queries and assisting with any pool-related issues.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of pool chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Pool Supervisor or Manager promptly.
• Attend relevant training sessions as required to stay updated on pool safety practices and company procedures.

Requirements
