Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Polisher to carry out manual polishing and scurfing of high-precision forged components. The role involves working on safety-critical parts such as compressors, turbine blades, and fan blades, ensuring they meet exacting standards for surface finish and dimensional accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Hand polishing of precision forged components using pedestal units, cloth mops on spindles, and graded grits.
  2. Removal of surface defects and imperfections to meet tight aerospace-level tolerances.
  3. Working to detailed technical specifications and quality standards.
  4. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-compliant work environment.
  5. Meeting production targets without compromising on quality.
