Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00

Orion is partnered with a fabrication business located in Dunstable, recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Metal Works Finisher to join the team.

Metal Polisher Responsibilities:

• Polish and finish architectural metalwork components to a high standard
• Operate polishing machines, hand tools, and abrasives to achieve finishes (mirror, satin)
• Inspect and prepare metal work surfaces
• Perform other fabrication duties such as cutting, grinding, folding, drilling, countersinking, tapping, and assembling
• Maintain equipment in work areas

Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a metalwork polisher/finisher
• Ideally experience in architectural fabrication
• Knowledge of different metal finishing techniques
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
