Job summary

MJ Quinn is seeking a Poling Supervisor to support poling and overhead field delivery teams in Gloucester and Worcester. You will ensure safety, compliance and quality through audits, liaise with clients and the public, and supervise infield project delivery while upholding the department’s professional image.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, availability for an on-call rota and a focus on delivering within contract KPIs and SLAs. Training and a standard benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong planning, organising and monitoring abilities.
• Availability for an on-call rota.
• Full UK driving licence continuously held for 24+ months with ≤6 points.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive and professional image of the department.
• Supervise infield day-to-day project delivery within the area, meeting client, safety and quality requirements.
• Manage service levels with sub-contractors and direct labour; control risk.
• Coordinate with supply chain for smooth execution of works.
• Ensure emergency works meet 2-hour response targets.
• Engage with local authorities to foster relationships.
• Lead site safety checks and report incidents and non-conformances.
• Attend joint site meetings for hot job assessments.
