Job summary

Servaada, a Wipro company, is seeking a Policyholder Assistant Accountant to support the Policy accounting team in Shropshire. You will apply financial knowledge to assist the Finance Manager and staff across the business, proactively challenging processes to improve financial results and governance.

Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate resources, and ensure service agreements are met.

Qualifications

• Complete complex general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for assets and liabilities.
• Experience in regulatory environments.
• Experience implementing new financial systems and processes.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational accounting to ensure accurate client financial records.
• Ensure SLAs are delivered and issues resolved with IT, Customer Services and P&P.
• Apply financial knowledge to support Finance managers and business functions.
• Embed a culture of financial and commercial challenge across the department.
• Develop effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
