Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a Policy and Reporting Officer to support service improvement across Children's Services through policy development, performance reporting and quality assurance.

You will work with managers, practitioners and partner agencies to implement policies reflecting current legislation and organisational priorities, and to ensure staff have access to clear and effective guidance that supports high-quality practice.

Qualifications

• Develop policies, performance reporting and quality assurance activity in Children's Services.
• Collate, analyse and report on performance and service data.
• Contribute to audits, reviews and inspections to evidence good practice and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and implement policies, procedures and practice guidance reflecting current legislation and priorities.
• Prepare accurate reports, dashboards and management information to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with managers, practitioners and partner agencies to ensure clear and effective guidance for staff.
