Nottingham City Council is seeking a Policy and Reporting Officer to support service improvement across Children's Services through policy development, performance reporting and quality assurance.
You will work with managers, practitioners and partner agencies to implement policies reflecting current legislation and organisational priorities, and to ensure staff have access to clear and effective guidance that supports high-quality practice.
As aPolicy and Reporting Officer, you will play a key role in supporting service improvement across Children's Services through the development of policies, performancereportingand quality assurance activity.
Working closely with managers,practitionersand partner agencies, you will support the development, review and implementation of policies,proceduresand practice guidance, ensuring they reflect current legislation, statutoryrequirementsand organisational priorities. You will help ensure staff have access to clear and effective guidance that supports consistent and high-quality practice.
You willbe responsible forcollating,analysingand reporting on performance and service data, producingaccuratereports,dashboardsand management information to support decision-making, serviceplanningand continuous improvement. Through the effective use of data and intelligence, you will helpidentifytrends,monitorperformanceand support the delivery of improvement priorities.
Working across a range of services, you will contribute to quality assurance processes, including audits,reviewsand inspections, helping toevidencegood practice andidentifyopportunities to improve outcomes for children, youngpeopleand families.
