Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Policy Fraud, this role leads our Policy Fraud and Intelligence teams. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including industry partners, law enforcement, and regulators, to identify criminal activities and support the referral of evidence and intelligence to combat fraud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively detect and prevent fraud to protect genuine customers and ensure excellent outcomes
  • Manage workstreams effectively, reviewing and optimizing processes
  • Lead fraud investigation strategies, utilizing tools and data to minimize risk
  • Reduce operational and claims costs by identifying threats and leakages
  • Use MI, intelligence products, and strategic data to prioritize investigations and enhance team performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve fraud detection capabilities organization-wide
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Understanding of motor insurance principles, legislation, and insurer obligations
  • Knowledge of risk assessment related to policy and application fraud, with relevant examples
  • Experience in policy or fraud roles within motor insurance
