ICF is seeking an experienced Consulting Director to lead evaluation projects and proposals for UK government departments and agencies in education and employment policy. You will manage in-house evaluators, develop strategy, grow client relationships, and lead bids with senior teams across the UK.

You will guide both qualitative and quantitative research, oversee complex projects, and mentor staff. A strong track record in policy evaluation and business development is essential for success at

Qualifikationen

• At least 10 years relevant professional experience.
• Expertise in UK policy research and evaluation in education, employment and labour markets, youth and inclusion, children and families.
• Experience leading large and complex research and evaluation projects.
• Experience delivering qualitative and quantitative social research methods.
• Experience writing competitive bids or grant applications, including methodological considerations.
• Excellent communication skills and strong commercial acumen.
• Experience managing large projects/teams.
• Degree, Master's degree or PhD in relevant discipline.

Aufgaben

• Develop and proactively manage our education and employment strategy.
• Lead growth of integrated offers for clients such as DfE, DWP, MHCLG and What Works Centres network.
• Generate business through networking and relationship-building.
• Identify and pursue pipeline and new business opportunities in UK education and employment markets.
• Position and bid for opportunities, leveraging market knowledge and client relationships to maximize growth.
• Oversee growth and account management for assigned clients.
• Build and maintain long-term strategic client relationships.
• Provide clients with insights and recommendations based on market and industry expertise.
• Improve client services and expand offerings.
• Participate in pitches and client presentations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity.
• Direct projects, providing technical leadership and managing project teams including subcontractors.
• Lead proposals for new work, including team building and budgeting.
• Support and develop the team serving this market and ensuring performance management.
