Working across a varied portfolio, you'll research complex issues, develop policy, progress primary and secondary legislation, engage with stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues across Government to ensure proposals are evidence-based, practical and deliver positive outcomes. From early policy development through to legislative delivery, you'll prepare briefings, consultations, drafting instructions and advice that help turn ideas into effective legislation.
No previous policy or legislation experience is required to succeed in this role. You'll join a small and supportive team where you'll be encouraged to develop specialist knowledge and gain experience across a broad range of policy and legislative work.
