Job summary

Wiltshire Police invites applications for a W6 Police Researcher in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) based in Swindon. The role supports safeguarding concerns, sharing information for strategy discussions, and providing research of police information for external enquiries.

It requires motivation, resilience, and a strong sense of personal responsibility within a fast-paced environment. Based in Wat Tyler House, Swindon, the post is full time with 37 hours per week, 8-hour shifts,

Qualifications

Knowledge of child protection procedures.
Experience of conducting research.
Ability to work under pressure to tight time constraints.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
PNC & PND qualifications.
Experience in a multi-agency environment.
Experience working in safeguarding.

Responsibilities

Support safeguarding investigations and information sharing for MASH.
Contribute research to strategy discussions and partner enquiries.
Operate within the Public Protection Department with professional accountability.
Carry out duties in the Swindon office as part of a police team.
