Job summary

British Transport Police is expanding its Learning and Development team to recruit trainers who shape the knowledge, skills and confidence of new officers. You will design and deliver engaging training across classroom, digital and practical environments, supporting recruits through comprehensive programmes and ongoing assessment.

You will foster an inclusive learning culture, adapt content for individual needs, and maintain the highest professional standards in line with BTP values and ethics.

Qualifications

• Substantive Constable with probation completed.
• Teaching qualifications (CET/Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering training or learning & development in a police environment.
• Ability to design and adapt learning content for digital and blended delivery.
• Experience supporting development, wellbeing, and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic training programmes across classroom, digital and practical environments.
• Design, create and continuously improve training materials reflecting operational realities.
• Motivate, challenge and support recruits to achieve full potential.
