Responsibilities

• Deliver delegated podiatry treatments and care plans.
• Provide nail and skin care, including delegated sharp debridement of intact skin.
• Undertake diabetic foot screening, vascular and neurological assessments.
• Complete ABPI and TBPI assessments following training and competency sign-off.
• Provide dressings and support wound care plans as directed by a podiatrist.
• Issue and review orthotic and offloading interventions in line with treatment plans.
• Deliver foot health education and self-management advice.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and activity data.
• Support service development, audit and quality improvement activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.
