Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a POCT Associate Practitioner to support point of care testing across multiple hospital sites. The role includes training, quality assurance, and device maintenance to ensure patient safety and compliance with policy.

The post holder will contribute to ongoing service development within an ISO-accredited Laboratory Medicine Service, with travel across sites and potential Welsh language usage encouraged.

Formación

• Evidence of academic achievement such as HNC, NVQ4, BTEC or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Laboratory procedures & Laboratory H&S.
• Experience of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support for Health Board staff and areas undertaking point of care testing.
• Train users, monitor external quality assurance and internal quality control; troubleshoot device and user problems.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining the POCT Policy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
