Job summary

iO Associates is seeking an experienced PMO Manager for a growing consultancy delivering transformation programmes across public sector clients. You will lead and develop the PMO, ensuring governance, controls and clear reporting.

Location: Near Macclesfield, hybrid working. Salary: £45,000–£50,000. Employment Type: Permanent. You will establish governance frameworks, produce dashboards, manage RAID and changes, and report to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading PMO in complex transformation programmes.
• Solid governance frameworks and reporting experience.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with PRINCE2, MSP or similar methodologies.
• Public sector delivery experience is highly desirable.

I'm currently working with a growing consultancy that delivers transformation programmes across a range of public sector clients. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced PMO Manager to lead and develop their Project Management Office, ensuring projects are delivered with strong governance, effective controls and clear reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving PMO capability, working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting the successful delivery of complex transformation programmes.

Location: Near Macclesfield - Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a PMO Manager or Senior PMO role
• Strong understanding of project governance and PMO best practice
• Experience with portfolio reporting and project controls
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar PPM tools
• Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, MSP or other recognised delivery methodologies
• Previous public sector experience is highly desirable
