Job summary

McLaren Racing is expanding its PMO capabilities. The Assistant Project Manager will support commercial, marketing and business performance projects and help implement PMO methodologies across the portfolio.

The role involves coordinating with partnerships, licensing, brand growth and fan engagement teams, managing tasks, identifying risks and delivering clear monthly PMO reporting. APM PPQ/PMQ or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of project management tools and feasibility analysis.
• Experience delivering commercial or marketing projects in sponsorship, licensing, digital marketing, brand experience or creative services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to medium projects from ideation through closure and monitor milestones and quality.
• Track project performance against timing and scope and report variances to the PMO Senior Manager.
• Support the Finance Business Partner in tracking financial performance against budget and escalate variances.
• Assist with project scoping, feasibility, proposals, plans and reporting.
• Manage and escalate project risks and issues as required.
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and communicate with internal and external parties.
• Help implement PMO process improvements and changes with clear updates.
• Support development and rollout of governance frameworks focusing on commercial and business performance.
