Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a PMO Analyst to support national security programmes from London, Cheltenham or Manchester. Contract or permanent, salary or day rate depending on experience.

You will manage planning, tracking, dashboards, RAID logs, budgets and governance, and prepare reports for senior stakeholders. APM/PRINCE2/MSP qualifications desirable; active eDV clearance required.

PMO Analyst: National Security (London, Cheltenham or Manchester)

Contract or permanent | Salary or day rate depending on experience

We're recruiting PMO Analysts on behalf of several clients in the national security sector. They range from large consultancies to smaller specialist businesses. You'll support live programmes of different sizes and complexity. You'll see how different organisations deliver, and you'll help deliver work that matters to national security.

What you'll do

• Support programme and project delivery through planning, tracking and reporting
• Maintain schedules, RAID logs, dependencies and risk registers
• Produce regular status reports and dashboards for programme leads and senior stakeholders
• Track budgets, forecasts and resource plans
• Help set up and run governance, including meetings, actions and decision logs
• Keep documentation accurate and up to date
• Spot delivery issues early and flag them to the right people

What we’re looking for

• Active eDV clearance. This is required to start.
• Experience in a PMO, project support or programme support role
• Good working knowledge of MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or Planview (helpful, not essential)
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach
• APM, PRINCE2, MSP or Agile qualifications (desirable)
