Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a PMO Analyst to support the IT project portfolio within a growing Digital Solutions organisation. You will operate in a PMO team, applying Waterfall and Agile methodologies with a focus on quality, governance, and reporting.

The role is hybrid with a Bristol onsite base and occasional travel to other UK sites. The package includes a salary band within £37,318 to £45,000 and a comprehensive benefits programme.

Responsibilities

The opportunity:

At Leonardo, as we grow the Digital Solutions PMO team we have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Analyst, to support activities and assure the portfolio of change within a growing Digital Solutions organisation. You will need experience in working in a PMO team with the flexibility to carry out varied tasks across the portfolio. This role will also give opportunities to progress, providing training where needed.

The role is hybrid with the normal onsite place of work being our Bristol office (or negotiable to some other Leonardo sites), so we can work as a team when required. Some travel to other UK sites may also be required occasionally.

What you’ll do as a PMO Analyst:

• Provide practical advice, guidance, and quality assurance to ensure IT projects follow the established project managementmethodology.
• Support and facilitate resource meetings and governance forums to enable effective decision-making and project oversight.
• Collate management information and data to contribute to monthly performance reviews and portfolioreporting.
• Assist project managers in project delivery using in-house tools and industry recognisedmethodologies
• Facilitate the review process for Lessons learned and report key findings to the Portfolio performancereview.

• Identify and contribution opportunities for process improvement within the IT organisation
• Prioritise of workload and effective communication of appropriate issues andescalations
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and other support teams to deliver an integratedservice

What we need from you:

You really must have:

• Previous experience of working within a PMO team
• Exposure to and understanding of the full project life cycle (Waterfall & Agile Methodologies knowledge)
• Demonstrable attention to detail, thoroughness and commitment to quality and accountability of own output
• Excellent communication skills – Ability to communicate information clearly, define needs and provide feedback in a timely and appropriate manner

It would be nice if you had:

• Experience with implementing process improvement practices
• Experience with Jira
• APMP or PRINCE 2 certification is desirable
