Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated PMLD Teacher to work with pupils across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 in Rochdale. You will support learners to achieve EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones, delivering bespoke lessons and maintaining a supportive environment.

You will collaborate with support staff, parents and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to learning, ensuring inclusion and safeguarding throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching in an SEN setting or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment.
• Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management.

Start Date: Monday 2nd November 2026

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Salary: £1000 - £1500 per week (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the role:

To be eligible you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
