Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a PMLD Teacher for a specialist SEN school in Waltham Forest. The role is part-time, 3 days per week, temporary to permanent, starting September 2026.

You will teach a small class, planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs, and collaborate with therapists and support staff to support EHCP outcomes. Qualifications

• Experience working within an SEN setting is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with complex needs (PMLD, ASD, SLD) is preferred.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach a small class of pupils within a specialist SEN setting.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons based around individual needs.
• Support pupils with a range of SEN and complex learning needs.
• Develop positive relationships with pupils and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other professionals.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute towards EHCP targets and reviews.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet different learning styles and abilities.
