Senploy is seeking a compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a Birmingham specialist school for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). You will work with children with complex needs, providing personalised support and helping them access education during the school day.

You will collaborate with teachers, therapists and other staff, follow EHCP targets, assist with personal care, mobility and sensory activities, and help pupils develop communication,

Qualifications

• Experience with PMLD or complex needs is valuable.
• Willing to undertake Manual Handling and other relevant training.
• Enhanced DBS check and pre-employment checks required.
