BMR Solutions is proud to represent a global manufacturer of specialist equipment for the semiconductor and electronics sector. This Semi-Skilled Mechanical role is based in Clevedon, Somerset, on a fixed PM shift with overtime opportunities and a competitive hourly rate.

As a Semi-Skilled Mechanical candidate, you will perform mechanical sub-assembly of components, using hand tools and following engineering drawings within a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical sub-assembly within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with hand tools and reading engineering drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing, production or engineering settings.
• Apprenticed or time-served background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical sub-assembly of components and systems.
• Use of hand tools such as spanners, wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Assemble within a manufacturing/production environment.
• Support build processes to meet quality and production targets.
• Maintain a neat, organized and safe workspace.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
