Job summary

BMR Solutions is recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Mechanical role in Clevedon, Somerset, on an ongoing contract with long-term renewal potential. You will perform mechanical sub-assembly, read engineering drawings, and support build processes in a busy manufacturing environment.

The position offers flexible shift options (early, late, or day), overtime rates, on-site facilities, and a structured benefits package including annual pay reviews, a company bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical sub-assembly.
• Ability to use a range of hand tools confidently.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Background in manufacturing, production or engineering environments.
• Desirable: basic industrial plumbing / pipework; basic electrical assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical sub-assembly of components and systems.
• Use of hand tools including spanners, wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Reading from mechanical drawings and diagrams.
• Assemble within a manufacturing / production environment.
• Supporting build processes to meet quality and production targets.
