A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am an 11-year-old boy with Autism living in Ynysybwl, Pontypridd area. I am an outgoing person who loves being outdoors, especially my trampoline and swimming pool in my garden. I value my own space and routine, and it may take me some time to get used to new people. My mum will often be with us until I feel comfortable on my own with you.

Due to my disability, I find boundaries challenging. I may approach people directly, focusing intently on what is in front of me, which can make supervision necessary when we are out.

I dislike loud noises and crowds, which can make me anxious and sometimes lead to violent behavior, which can be distressing for everyone involved.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

My mum is looking for 2:1 support to ensure my safety during community outings. Support will be needed even when my mum is present.

Meets NMW.
