Job summary

Coleg Cambria is seeking a Work-Based Learning Practitioner - Plumbing to join the Deeside team. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary in the range of £32,608–£36,748 and focuses on guiding apprentices through plumbing qualifications while integrating real-world industry experience into education.

The post requires Level 3 Plumbing, GasSafe eligibility, Welsh language skills, and commitment to professional development including TAQA qualifications.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Plumbing qualification or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards TAQA Assessor and TAQA Unit 401 qualifications.
• English & Maths Level 2 (Grade C/4) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support learners to achieve their qualifications per Awarding Organisation requirements.
• Manage a caseload of learners and conduct Training Needs Analyses to plan progression.
• Facilitate coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities to help learners succeed.
• Deliver practical project sessions for assessments in one-to-one or small groups (up to 8 learners).
