Morgan Hunt in East London is seeking a Plumbing Technician to join our Construction Department. You will support the delivery of practical teaching, help prepare workshops, and ensure students can work safely and effectively in a hands-on environment.

This role suits an experienced plumber who enjoys mentoring others, maintaining high workshop standards, managing stock and equipment, and contributing to safe, engaging learning experiences for learners on plumbing and related programmes.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Relevant industry experience in domestic and/or commercial plumbing.
• Sound knowledge of current plumbing practices, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Competent in using a range of plumbing tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workshops, tools, equipment, and materials for practical lessons.
• Support lecturers during practical training sessions, ensuring students work safely and effectively.
• Maintain plumbing workshops to a high standard, ensuring equipment is clean, serviced, and ready for use.
