Job summary

Bristol City Council is recruiting a Plumbing Surveyor to join the Responsive Repairs team at Brislington Transport Depot. You will inspect and manage day-to-day response repairs across 28,000 homes, coordinating with internal trades and external contractors to resolve issues pre-, during and post work, ensuring high standards of service.

The role requires knowledge of building pathology and plumbing hazards, with a methodical, accountable, and proactive approach.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in a construction field plus relevant surveying experience.
• Desirable ACS Gas qualification and Plumbing NVQ Level 2 or 3.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily inspections to oversee and manage day-to-day response repairs.
• Provide technical support from inception to completion of repairs.
• Coordinate with internal trades and external contractors to ensure quality and timelines.
