Job summary

Bristol City Council’s Housing & Landlord Services seeks experienced Gas trained plumbers to join the Responsive Repairs team. You will perform plumbing, heating and gas work across Bristol homes, mainly in customers’ properties, ensuring high-quality service.

You must hold NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) and CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, with HTR1/CKR1/Unvented qualifications as applicable, plus a valid driving licence. Sponsorship is not offered. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) is required.
• Gas qualifications including CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT; ability to add HTR1, CKR1 & Unvented is required.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing, heating and gas work within varied housing stock.
• Work mainly in customers' homes delivering high quality service.
• Ensure work is done right first time and stay within budget to provide value for money.
