The City of Liverpool College, at its Vauxhall Road campus, is seeking a part-time plumbing lecturer to plan, deliver and assess Level 1–3 plumbing courses. You will use varied teaching methods and track student progress while supporting English and maths integration and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities include maintaining a positive learning environment, liaising with parents and carers, and contributing to curriculum design within the Sustainable Construction & Building

Qualifikationen

• Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing (required)
• Professional qualification relevant to the subject area
• Assessor qualification
• Recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to complete one
• Level 2 literacy and numeracy, or willingness to complete

Aufgaben

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality plumbing lessons
• Use a range of teaching and learning techniques to engage students and build their independence
• Create a safe, purposeful learning environment and maintain behaviour standards
• Set and mark work and record progress
• Track students' progress and attendance
• Contribute to programme and teaching design with the Head of School
• Work with colleagues to address students' English and maths skills
• Keep knowledge of national subject developments up to date
• Communicate with parents, carers and students
• Provide enrichment opportunities that enhance the student experience
