Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Plumber with hands-on industry experience to join a large FE college in Aylesbury as a Plumbing Instructor. No prior teaching experience is required because full teacher training is provided, along with a strong pension and generous holidays.

You will deliver practical plumbing sessions, supervise learners, and help students develop real-world skills for a successful trade career in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on industry experience in plumbing.
• Level 2 qualification or above in Plumbing.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in a workshop or site environment.

Responsibilities

Are you a Plumber with strong hands‑on industry experience?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, modern Further Education college that is committed to developing industry professionals into outstanding educators. No previous teaching experience is required, with full support and funded teacher training provided.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced lecturers, delivering practical Plumbing sessions, supporting learners in the workshop, maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for practical activities. You will also supervise learners during practical sessions, reinforce key skills and help students develop the confidence and practical ability needed to succeed in industry.

The ideal candidate will have practical Plumbing experience, a Level 2 qualification or above in Plumbing and a good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or site environment. You will be enthusiastic about developing others and looking for a long‑term career in education.
