Job summary

MarkMay is recruiting a plumbing engineer for the Reading area to join a fast-paced team. You will carry out domestic plumbing tasks, install hot water cylinders, trace leaks and ensure safety standards.

The role offers a basic salary up to £38,400 plus overtime, on-call duties, and a potential OTE of £50,000. Full van, fuel card, PPE and uniform provided, with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
• 3 years experience in plumbing.
• You must hold a valid in date driving license with no more than 6 points.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must be confident and have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out basic plumbing work including reactive maintenance within a domestic environment.
• Installing hot water cylinders and cold water storage tanks.
• Tracing and fixing leaks, tap repair and replacement, toilet repair and replacement.
• Replacing radiators and radiator valves.
• Providing an excellent level of customer service.
• Adhering to impeccable health and safety standards.
